Veronika Walker founded Moments That Matter on a simple belief:

Advocacy is not a message. It is a measurable commitment to change.

The platform exists to support individuals and families at pivotal moments in life. Moments shaped by fear, trauma, illness or sudden responsibility, when support is most needed, and isolation is most dangerous.

This mission is not about reacting to a crisis. It is about building systems of care, dignity and long-term impact around those moments.

Moments That Matter was not created from a title.
It was shaped by lived experience.

Having navigated domestic violence, motherhood and medical vulnerability, I witnessed how easily people fall through gaps in support at critical points in their lives. I also saw how quickly change can happen when care, resources and responsibility align.

This mission exists to close those gaps.

The platform is structured around three interconnected areas. Together, they address not only the crisis but also recovery and long-term stability.

Maternal and Infant Health
Supporting premature babies, mothers and families navigating high-risk births through advocacy, fundraising and partnerships with medical and family care organisations, including long-term support for neonatal units.

Recovery and Support for Survivors of Domestic Abuse
Promoting inclusive, dignity-based support that recognises fear and violence affects women, children, men and entire families. The focus is not only on escape, but on recovery and rebuilding.

Child and Family Wellbeing Beyond Crisis
Ensuring families receive continued support after the emergency has passed. Stability, emotional wellbeing and long-term care are central to sustainable change.

Moments That Matter operates through action, not symbolism.

Through structured fundraising campaigns, long-term partnerships and public engagement, the platform has helped raise over £250,000 for charitable causes including Simpson’s Special Care Babies, Women’s Aid, DEBRA UK and Cancer Research UK.

Impact is delivered through:

  • Structured fundraising campaigns with clear outcomes

  • Long-term charity and institutional partnerships

  • Media engagement that educates rather than sensationalises

  • Public representation that turns visibility into responsibility

Success is measured in funds raised, families supported, and partnerships sustained.

Moments That Matter is a values-driven framework designed to scale internationally and continue beyond pageantry.

The crown is not the destination.
It is the microphone.

As Mrs Lithuania World 2025, the title provides access, visibility and responsibility. It is used to amplify voices that are often unheard and to mobilise support where it leads to tangible change.

The mission continues beyond the Mrs World stage.

The long-term vision is to expand Moments That Matter through international partnerships, collaborative campaigns and initiatives that support families at life’s most defining moments.

Leadership, in this context, is not measured by applause.
It is measured by impact.

Every life has moments that change everything.
This mission exists to ensure those moments lead to strength, not silence.
